Your personal AI Council
Coming soon for Mac, Windows & Linux

Three AI perspectives.
One clearer
next step.

Bring a question, an idea, or a knot you can’t quite untangle. Three distinct AI voices think it through together, so you can see more perspectives.

Around the HearthIllustrative example
You bring the question

“I have an idea for a side project. Where do I start?”

Pragmatist A workable next move

Make the smallest version you can share with someone this weekend.

Philosopher A question worth asking

What would make it worthwhile to you: learning, earning, or helping someone?

Contrarian An assumption to test

A prototype could help. But first, how do people solve this problem today?

The Moderator’s summary

Define what you want from the project, then talk to one person who has the problem. Use what you learn to choose a small first experiment.

Written examples that illustrate how a Council works.

Different perspectives, one conversation.

You stay in charge of the decision.

A little room to think

Bring what’s on your mind.
Find what you might be missing.

Bring a plan, a draft, or a decision you want to think through. Start in your own words.

  1. 01

    Bring your question

A plan you’re weighing. A draft that feels off. An idea you want to explore. Your Council is already gathered.

  2. 02

    Make space for other angles

Three AI personas offer independent perspectives, then respond to each other where the differences matter.

  3. 03

    Leave with something useful

Get a clear summary of the options, tradeoffs, and open questions. Keep the conversation going as your thinking develops.

Meet your starter Council

One Council.
Different instincts.

Get to know voices with a point of view. Start with these three, then choose the Council members your question needs.

Pragmatist, a moss-green robot with a toolbox body

Pragmatist

“What should we actually do next?”

Finds a workable next move, with the time and resources you actually have.

Philosopher, an indigo robot with two glowing lamps

Philosopher

“What is fundamentally true here?”

Looks closely at what you mean, what you value, and what follows from it.

Contrarian, a coral robot with mismatched lenses and a tilted antenna

Contrarian

“What are we all assuming without evidence?”

Gives an overlooked alternative a fair hearing and tests the comfortable answer.

Each Council member is powered by a different AI model lineage: a family of models developed by a different AI lab. Hearth brings those models into one discussion, so you hear perspectives shaped by different training and approaches.

Your Council. Your control.

Local history.
AI services you choose.

Your work has a home on your device.

Circles, conversations, and Council history live on your device. Keep, export, back up, or delete them in either edition.

You bring the AI access.

An OpenRouter account with credits can provide model access for your Council. Supported AI assistants installed on your computer can also provide access if your plan allows it. Before your first round, review your provider’s charges and spending controls. AI usage charges are separate from Hearth.

Know what leaves your device.

Your council conversation and any context you share are sent to your chosen AI providers, under their policies. Running the app locally doesn’t mean the AI runs offline.

Before you pull up a chair

A few good questions.

Something else on your mind?
Say hello

Do I need experience with AI personal assistants?

No. Bring a question in your own words. Start with the ready-made Council, and Hearth selects the models that power it.

What do I need to get started?

Hearth is coming soon for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

One way to start is an OpenRouter account with credits, which connects your Council to models from different AI labs. If you don’t have an account yet, Hearth makes it easy to set one up and connect it to your Council.

You pay OpenRouter for AI usage separately from Hearth. Check OpenRouter’s pricing and available spending controls before beginning.

Already use an AI assistant installed on your computer? Hearth can also connect to supported tools such as Claude Code and Codex. These are apps that can help with tasks on your computer, including writing code. Access depends on the tool and your plan; a subscription to a chat website alone may not include it.

Why ask a Council instead of one AI?

Different perspectives can reveal a tradeoff or assumption that one answer leaves unexplored. Hearth brings three distinct personas, powered by different AI labs, into one conversation and summarizes what matters. Agreement isn’t required, and you remain the decision-maker.
